Herbal extracts, colours & functional ingredients for food & beverage

Food and beverage manufacturers use botanical extracts for three things: function, colour and flavour. CTA supplies all three — functional extracts for the fast-growing functional-food and wellness-drink categories, natural-colour botanicals, and the oleoresins and spice oils that carry flavour.

The food and beverage range includes functional actives such as Green coffee and chlorogenic acid, Green tea polyphenols and natural caffeine; natural-colour botanicals such as Curcumin, Hibiscus and Butterfly-pea flower; and flavour-bearing extracts and oleoresins of Ginger, Pepper, Clove and other spices. Water-soluble and water-dispersible grades are available for clear and ready-to-drink formats.

All food-grade extracts are manufactured under CTA's FSSAI licence and FSSC 22000 system, and CTA also offers steam-sterilised, milled and blended spices and botanicals for the food industry.
